Platform access costs nothing until official launch. The only paid requirement is a separate, one-time $35 background check for Basic Verification.
Professional Background Check
Every transporter must complete a $35 background check through Checkr as part of becoming Basic Verified on CritterRoute. Checkr is a third-party background screening provider used to conduct the check.
What You Need to Get Started
Basic Verified requires identity verification and a completed background check. Transporters who provide applicable USDA/APHIS registration and insurance documentation can qualify for Fully Verified status.

- Driver's license upload (or government ID).
Once complete, you can start using CritterRoute right away.
Fully Verified
An additional verification level — not required to join or get started.

- Additional documentation provided through your profile.
